The previous fan/light remote had worn out from frequent use and had to be replaced. I was worried that I might have to go for a generic version seeing as it was more than 15 years old. However, I found what I needed at The Lighting Outlet, it relatively inexpensive and was delivered quickly. I didn't even have to fiddle with its toggle switches as the fan was set to the remote's default settings. Good experience all round.
