High density LED strip, 28.8w per metre
This is the most powerful strip in the range, with 912 LEDs per metre and up to 3031 lumens per metre. It is designed for large spaces and high ceilings where the strip has to do the work of a row of downlights: commercial coves, atriums, retail ceilings and big open plan living areas.
The dense LED layout gives a near continuous line of light, and CRI above 90 keeps colours true. Cut points every 26mm make it easy to fit to ceiling and joinery lengths.

Choosing a driver
Allow 28.8w for every metre of strip and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 144w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 173w, which in practice means a 200w driver. For longer installs, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less and feed each run separately.
Mounting and heat
At 28.8w per metre this strip runs hot and must be mounted on an aluminium profile or heat sink. The aluminium draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser softens the line. Choose a profile at least 13mm wide inside to suit the 12mm strip.
