A lantern head made to sit on top of something rather than hang off the face of it. The 170mm by 150mm backplate mounts flat to a brick pier, a rendered pillar or a capped fence post, so it finishes the top of the structure instead of interrupting the wall.
Cast aluminium frame in black with clear glass panels on each side, standing 430mm tall and 170mm wide. Clear glass means you see the globe, so a warm LED filament is the right choice here; a bare bright globe looks harsh through clear panels. One E27 to 60w, not included.
Rated IP44 for permanent outdoor use. A matching pair either side of a driveway entrance is the usual application, and 430mm is tall enough to read from the street on a standard pier without looking top heavy.
