A pale, almost powdery blue under a glossy ceramic glaze. It is a colour that behaves itself, reading as a soft neutral in most rooms rather than announcing itself the way a saturated blue would, which is why it works next to white bedding and natural timber without any planning on your part.
The glaze is the detail worth noticing. It pools slightly and picks up whatever light is in the room, so the base has depth to it even when the lamp is off.
