Scandinavian design tends to strip a fitting back to its essentials, and that is what is happening here. The wall light is little more than a clean arm and a round 100mm backplate holding an exposed E27 lamp holder, projecting 170mm off the wall.

Leaving the globe on show is a deliberate choice, and it means you decide what the fitting actually looks like. An opal globe gives a soft, diffused glow and keeps things calm. A clear LED filament globe pushes it towards a more industrial, contemporary result with a visible coil. The same fitting can go either way, and you can change your mind later for the price of a globe.

Three finishes to work with: black, white and satin brass. Supplied without a globe, taking one E27 up to 60w.
