RGB colour changing LED strip, 2 metres, 12v
A compact 2 metre RGB strip from Superlux for adding colour to small spaces. Run it through a controller to mix purple, blue, green, red and white, and set the mood for a games room, bar shelf, bedhead or display cabinet.
At just 10mm wide and 3mm high it tucks easily under shelves, behind furniture and inside joinery. Pair it with a 12v driver and an RGB controller, both purchased separately.

Choosing a driver and controller
The full 2 metre strip draws 10w. Add about 20% headroom and you need 12w, so a 30w 12v driver is plenty. Your RGB controller must also be rated for the full load. You can cut the strip every 83mm, but once it is cut the section past the cut is no longer connected to the power feed.
Mounting and heat
We recommend an aluminium profile to protect the strip, draw heat away from the LEDs and extend its life. Choose a profile at least 11mm wide inside to suit the 10mm strip, and add a diffuser for an even wash of colour.
