This is a large outdoor wall light. 440mm tall and projecting 400mm from the wall, it is scaled for a front facade, a garage wall or a wide entry, not for a narrow side path where it would be in the way.
Aluminium body, opal acrylic diffuser. Aluminium is the right material outdoors because it does not rust the way steel does, and the acrylic diffuser is more forgiving than glass if something hits it. The diffuser hides the globe completely and spreads the output evenly across the front, so what you get at the door is a broad even wash rather than a hot spot with dark edges.
Rated IP44, which covers splashing water from any direction. That makes it suitable for a wall under normal weather exposure. It is not rated for direct high pressure hosing or immersion.
Takes one E27 globe up to 60w, not supplied. A standard E27 LED at 60w maximum is recommended, and warm white is the usual choice for an entry.
