Rods, not cord, and it matters
Cord hung pendants twist. They settle at whatever angle the cable feels like, and over a long benchtop a row of them almost never lines up. This one hangs on rigid rods with a shoulder joint at the canopy, so it hangs straight the day it goes up and it is still straight a year later. If you are installing three or four in a row, that is the difference between a considered look and a slightly annoying one.
Three sets of rods are supplied so the installer can combine them to reach the drop you want. The small size runs from 340mm to 930mm overall, the large from 400mm to 990mm. That is decided on site rather than being locked in by the length of a cord.
The shade is clear flat glass panels in a satin black metal frame, open at the bottom. Open base matters for two reasons: the light falls straight down onto the surface below instead of being trapped, and the globe stays easy to reach. With clear glass the globe is fully on show, so a filament style globe is the one that suits it.
Two sizes, 170mm and 300mm square, are made to be mixed. E27 base, globe not included, up to 60W. Installation by a licensed electrician.
