An open cage of matt black rods, 380mm across and 390mm tall, with nothing inside it but the globe. That is the whole design, and the emptiness is the point. A solid shade blocks light and blocks the view. A cage frame casts a pattern of shadows across the ceiling and walls instead, and lets you see straight through to whatever is on the other side.
Because it reads as line rather than mass, it works in rooms where a heavier pendant would feel oppressive. Low ceilings, small dining spaces, a hallway, a landing. Hung in a pair or a row over an island it does not close the space in the way opaque shades do.
The globe is fully exposed, so choose it with some care. A decorative filament LED belongs here. A plain pearl globe will look unfinished.
One E27 socket up to 60 watts, globe sold separately, on an 1800mm black cloth cord. Installation by a licensed electrician is required.
