The Nella surface mounted LED downlight provides smooth, wide-angle illumination in a compact and contemporary design. Its 120° beam angle makes it ideal for general lighting in both residential and commercial spaces. Finished in durable powder-coated aluminium, it offers a clean, modern look in black or white. Tri-colour selection and optional dimming on the 240V model allow easy adjustment of light tone and brightness to suit your space.

12v model must be used with a suitable 12v DC LED Driver.

Choosing a driver

The 12v DC version runs on low voltage and needs a 12v LED driver, installed by a licensed electrician. The 240v version wires straight to mains and does not need a driver.

Allow 12w for each downlight and add about 20% headroom. 4 downlights draw 48w, so they need a 12v driver of at least 58w, which in practice means a 60w driver.

For bigger installs, split the lights across two or more drivers and place each driver close to its group. Long cable runs at low voltage lose brightness at the far end, so check your cable size with our voltage drop calculator.

Indoors, an indoor 12v driver mounted in the ceiling space works well. If the light is going outdoors or under eaves, use a weatherproof IP66 12v driver.

Great Hallway Lights
Talk about minimalist and bright! These are in our hallway. We don't really notice them when they're off which is great but when we do need them they're so bright. Love them!
