Description:
A clear glass sphere held in a brushed brass fitting, and very little else. There is no shade to soften the output, so this is a wall light chosen for the object it makes on the wall rather than for the amount of light it throws. Beside a bed, either side of a bathroom mirror, or spaced along a hallway, it reads as a small bright point rather than a wash.
Because the glass is clear, the globe inside is fully visible and becomes part of the design. A decorative E14 LED globe is the right call here; a plain white one will look like a spare part sitting in a nice fitting.
Brushed brass warms up over time against timber, white walls and greenery, and there is a matching pendant in the same finish and glass if you want the two working together in one room. 280mm high, 180mm wide, projecting 210mm off the wall. One E14 lampholder up to 40w, and it is hard wired, so a licensed electrician does the install.
