Textured glass is the detail worth paying attention to on this one. The base is not smooth. The surface is worked so it breaks up the light passing through it and gives the colour some depth, which a flat pane of tinted glass never quite manages.

Two colourways are offered. Green is the bolder choice and reads as a deliberate accent against neutral bedroom or living room walls. Smoke is the quieter one and behaves almost like a grey, which makes it easier to place in a room that already has a lot going on.

At 410mm tall with a 250mm shade it is properly bedside sized. Tall enough that the light clears a stack of books, compact enough that it does not take over the table.

The switch sits on the cord where you can find it without looking. It takes a single E27 globe up to 40 watts, sold separately.
