We offer a flat $11.95 shipping rate for most metro areas around Australia. If your postcode does not fall into this category, shipping will be calculated at checkout - It's normally not much extra.
Orders with items that require to be ordered can take 3-5 business days to dispatch. Delivery times will vary depending on location (Please see below)
Orders must be a minimum of $200 for us to process. Each country may have importing taxes, it is the customers responsibility to look into their country's importing tax. Australia's 10% GST (goods and service tax) will be removed from orders. Orders must be shipped internationally for the GST to be removed.
Package lengths 2 meters or more will incur a $30 freight charge. This covers the courier's excess size charge and covers heavy duty packing materials needed to send your package safely.

As a commercial lighting designer for past 25+ years I was looking to change the lighting in my own home - specifically bedrooms. While many people prefer downlights, I find that an overall space light works better for me when the whole room needs to be lit. The Orbit Oyster is very low profile and is not intrusive with a standard ceiling height. The side profile allows for light to shine in an upward direction and place light on the ceiling to alleviate the "cave" effect which can occur with some downlights. There is no glare and lighting level measured 140 lux directly below the fitting with 40-60 lux in the room corners.
This provides more than adequate light for simple tasks in accordance with Australian Standards.
The colour temperature setting at 3000K is warm and pleasant for night time use.
We use additional task lighting for reading with the main light switched off, but this is a personal preference.
For the price and energy consumed, I have found this to be an excellent solution.
