RGBW LED strip, 16w per metre
This strip puts red, green and blue LEDs alongside a dedicated white channel, so you get full colour for parties and mood lighting plus a proper white light for everyday use from the one tape. That makes it a smart choice for living areas, home theatres, bars and retail spaces that need to change character.
Pick a warm 3000k or a bright 5000k white to suit the room. At 16w per metre there is plenty of output for coves and bulkheads, and the slim 10mm tape fits standard profiles.

Choosing a driver and controller
Allow 16w for every metre and add about 20% headroom. A full 5 metre run draws 80w, so it needs a 24v driver of at least 96w, which in practice means a 100w driver. Your RGBW controller must also be rated for the full load of the run. For longer installs, split the strip into runs of 5 metres or less, each with its own feed.
Mounting and heat
Mount the strip on an aluminium profile or heat sink. The aluminium draws heat away from the LEDs, protects the strip and extends its life, and a diffuser blends the colours into one smooth line. Choose a profile at least 11mm wide inside to suit the 10mm strip.
IP20 rated for dry indoor locations only.
