An 1800mm bar of light, 30mm square in section, hung from a canopy that sits centrally rather than at one end. That detail matters more than it sounds: a central canopy means the pendant balances itself, and the ceiling penetration lands in the middle of the run, which is usually where the existing point already is.
The LED is integral, drawing up to 34w and giving between 1980lm and 2200lm depending on the colour temperature your electrician selects at installation. Colour Temperature Switching covers 3000k, 4000k and 5000k from the one fitting. The driver is built into the ceiling canopy, so there is no separate box to hide above the plasterboard, and the whole thing dims on a suitable LED friendly dimmer.
An opal acrylic diffuser softens the LED so you read an even line rather than visible dots, and the aluminium housing keeps the profile straight over the full 1800mm. Stainless steel support wires come at 1.8m and can be shortened on site. It is a natural fit above a long dining table, a kitchen island or a pool table, where the length of the fitting matches the length of the surface underneath it. Black or white.
