Choosing a driver
This inground light runs on 12v DC, so it needs a 12v LED driver (sometimes called a transformer). It cannot connect straight to 240v mains. The driver is wired in by a licensed electrician.
Allow 18w for each inground light and add about 20% headroom. 2 inground lights draw 36w, so they need a 12v driver of at least 44w, which in practice means a 60w driver.

For bigger installs, split the lights across two or more drivers and place each driver close to its group. Long cable runs at low voltage lose brightness at the far end, so check your cable size with our voltage drop calculator.
Outdoors, use a weatherproof IP66 12v driver and mount it above ground, clear of garden beds and pooling water.
