A coach light that sits flat against the wall

Traditional coach lights usually hang off a bracket, which looks right on a wide brick facade and wrong almost everywhere else. This one is flush mounted. It keeps the lantern shape and the classic proportions but presses them against the wall, so it works on a narrow entry, a townhouse frontage or a side passage where a projecting arm would be in the way.

At 360mm tall it has enough presence to anchor a front door without dwarfing it, and the 110mm projection means nobody clips their shoulder walking past. Two either side of a door is the traditional arrangement; a single one centred above works just as well on a narrower entry.

Black is the safe choice against brick, render or timber. White suits a Hamptons or coastal facade and disappears into a light coloured wall during the day, which is the point if you want the fitting to read at night and not before.

It is IP44 rated for rain and splashing, and takes an E27 globe that is not included, so you set the brightness and the warmth yourself. A warm filament globe suits the traditional shape best. Installation by a licensed electrician.

Very good replacement lights.
Lights were a good replacement for 16 year old lights that they replaced.
Lights had some variances that made them a little harder to replace, but were a good replacement.

Excellent Wall Coach Light with a blend of modernity
This half coach wall light would complement any exterior architectural house design, providing a fresh and inspirational outlook by blending conventional and modern touch to external wall lighting. It is easy to install and can work with LED or other globes. Excellent light output is delivered from clear glass panels.
