A traditional shape with an industrial streak. A satin black arm and fittings, and a clear bell shaped glass shade that is hand-made rather than machine pressed, so it carries the small variations in thickness and form that give hand-worked glass its character.

Clear glass means the globe is on show. That is a deliberate choice, and it puts the emphasis on what you put inside. A filament style LED turns this into a warm, decorative fitting, while a plain frosted globe makes it look ordinary. Choose the globe with as much care as the fitting.

It projects 310mm from the wall, which is a long reach for a wall light. That is useful over a mirror, along a hallway, or beside a bed where you want the light out over the pillow rather than flat against the wall. Check the clearance in a narrow passage first.

275mm tall and 150mm wide. Takes one E27 globe up to 60w, not supplied.
