Exactly what I needed for my kitchen and dining reno.
The lights are great, they consist of a solid piece of timber, which is probably pine as it is quite light in colour.
The two lengths that support the weight can be adjusted, so I chose to have the timber section hanging 300mm below the black supporting bit that is fixed to the ceiling.
I have a lot of timber in my kitchen and dining area, none of which is this blonde timber, so I did get a small tin of timber stain, I went for Sutherland Teak, and wiped 3 coats on with a rag, then covered it will one coat of clear sealer, to get a timber colour more similar to my existing furniture.
It would have looked good with the existing colour, I just liked that I was able to stain it to better suit my current furniture.
I have installed dimmable light globes in the 6 hanging cords, as this is over the dining table. It looks fantastic on, with it aligned along the length of the dining table.
We are in the process of doing up a piece of raw edge Marri timber, as a dining table, this light will look fantastic over the table.
I also went for the slightly shorter version, the 4 light arrangement in the Townshed Pendant light, for over my kitchen bench. You can see both of them together in the first photo.
I would definitely recommend these lights, and from this company, as they were the best priced lights across every company I found who sold them.
