Quality Unit

✅ Does what it advertises reliably.

✅ Easy to install (Leads are sufficient and good quality wire)).

Limitations...

❎ Does rely on the existence of a neutral where it is installed.

Most domestic wall switches are a single active and switched active to the fan circuit.

This necessitates you either run a neutral down to the switch or mount the unit in the ceiling where access to a neutral is assured.

❎There is no provision to switch fan off once triggered.

❎The time adjuster is very coarse so it is quite fiddly to adjust to the time you need.

It does the job quite well, but it is very hard to set at 2 minutes run on!

It wants either 1 min or 3 minutes!

No surprises

The VTROTIMER exhaust fan run-on time does exactly what it says. Unlike some similar products, the fan starts immediately when turned on, and runs for the full selected period, even after the briefest period switched on. As far as I can tell, there isn't a provision to shut the fan off early, so if that's a feature you need this might not be the right device for you, but otherwise it's a great little unit.

Great little product!

Installed recently, working great and does what it says on the box.

The device was way smaller than I thought, which is grat as it is easily installed and hidden inside the wall behind the light switch. While this is a pro, it does add some steps if you want to adjust the run on time. But once set, this shouldn't be a problem.

Perfect Solution

Nice little solution to fix the need for a toilet fan run-on. Easy to install (I'm an Electrician). The unit fits in a large junction box which butted up to next to another junction box to terminate the fly-lead connections. Accurate time scale adjustment. Right price and great service with very quick delivery.

Convenient to Use, but there's Room for Improvements.

It's convenient not to have to return to the bathroom to switch 'Off' the exhaust fan once it had been switched 'On' & switched 'Off' immediately after that (when the set time from the timer starts to 'kick in').

However, it had been Extremely difficult to Accurately Set Up the Timer for the Required Specific period of time, & having a Wider range of time period options will be better as well.
